Collier County Fire and EMS Station Construction Begins

This new 14,000 sq. ft. single-story first-responder station will be built on 5.5 acres and was designed for EMS, fire control, and the sheriff’s office to improve response times. The proposed building will have 10 connecting vehicle bays, 12 bunk rooms, six (6) restrooms, kitchen, dining area, day room, fitness center, laundry, storage, offices and a lanai with outdoor seating. The structure is made up of 8” and 12” CMU with a light steel truss package. Single access drives off both boulevards will be constructed. A large dry retention area is planned south of the building.
